January Sun
We really need rain. I know that and I hope it comes soon… but I have to admit that I love the sun in January. Some years we’ve gone through the whole month without ever seeing the sun because of the dense fog in the Central Valley. I like the rain too, but I hate the fog so the sun is welcome sight anytime we get a glimpse of it in the winter months. January used to be a down month for me until I realized a few years ago that the sun and my activity level had a lot of influence on that depression.
Being in Southern California all weekend (80 degrees) made me feel like we’d skipped February-March and I’m not in a hurry. So for now, I’ll pray for rain and keep the sun roof open whenever possible.
